The vz-24 is a first cousin to the German K98, and is essentially the same weapon. This one was probably made during the period of German annexation, because it lacks Czech proofs and dates. Good over all condition, nearly no finish at all. Bore is good, but finely pitted towards the muzzel. Would not effect the shootability. The action is silky smooth, which is a charactaristic of the VZ-24. Great historical rifle that gets no love from collectors, and is constantly persecuted by gunsmithing students to obliderate
