Czech CZ-52 Rifle, mfg 1955; 7.62X45
Price: $345.00
These are very interesting rifles, and are always reported to be excellent service weapons. They unfortunatly had a very short service life and were replaced in 1958 when the Czechs standaredized to the Warsaw Pack 7.62X39. This one is still in the original 7.62X45 caliber, which is avalable if you search for it here on gunbroker. These rifles are also characterized by numerous repairs to damage on the stocks. When they were imported, Century Arms painted them with an awful crinkle paint to hide he hedious stocks. Someone has cleaned the paint off this one, and I don't think it hurt it any. Over all condition is fair, operation is fine, and I do not detect any problems. The bore is present and you can see rifling, but it is a bit rough. I do not know if this would clean up or not. The muzzle nut is free, and easily turns. If you are looking for one of these, this is an excellent value compaired with the rediculous prices I've seen people list these for.
