Columbian Danish Madsen Mod 47, w/stock disk; 3006
Price: $595.00
These interesting rifles are indeed something of a rarity. There were 5,000 guns in the contract to Columbia; which was the only country to pick this gun up from post war Denmark. They were chambered in .30-06, as this example is, and some of them display the Colombian crest in a disk on the stock. The baked on paint finish is original, not any user modification. I cannot find any import marks on this gun, so I don't know when it would have been brought in. Everything works as it should, and there are no problems. The bore is nice and strong, but it appears to have some pitting towards the muzzle. I swabbed it out a few times, and some of it came out, so I'm not 100% sure it's not just build up from sitting vertical on a rack for a long time. I am sure that shooting this rifle will do it well, and properly answer the question about the bore. All in all, this is a fantastic example of a rare rifle that has not been messes with. If you have any questions, please ask and I will do my best to answer them for you.
