We have had this for a short while, and I finally decided to go ahead and put it up. This is what I have heard people call a "red 9" Artillery Luger. I have spend time looking in my books, and I cannot find any referance to why these were marked like this. Online, the only thing I can find are others who have guns like this one, who do not know what the history is either. What I do know, is that the 9s have been on these grips for a very very long time, and both grips are numbered to the gun. Beyond that, this is a nice matching artillery Luger in good condition, with no issues. The magazine is unmarked and unnumbered, and is just the one that came with the gun when I got it. I took many many pictures, so I will show rather than tell. I'm sure there is something important that I am leaving out, so if you have a specific question, let me know.
