Good straight example. This one has a nice tiger stripe stock, and the rifle it's self is pretty well preserved. This was stored in a garage, so it is a bit grimy, though it is very dry in Colorado, so there is no damage at all. The only problem that I can find is that there is alittle bit of rust starting on the nose cap where dust collected from the gun sitting on end, but I did not clean it off. I've been accused of "hiding things" before when I clean things up, so I don't do that any more. The bore is very good, it is turning dark, but there is no pitting at all. I swabbed it out, there were actually spider webs in it. It could use a fine cleaning. The cleaning rod is missing, but everything matches. Also, one more characteristic that bears mention is that the back of the bayonet lug is marred, probably from someone trying to remove it that didn't know what they were doing. All in all, it is still a nice example, and a reasonable deal for someone looking for one of these for their collection.
