This French UNIQUE is a very uncommon pistol. This is the first one that I have seen in person. It is actually very similar in appearance and design to a Ruby, but once you get them side by side you can spot a few differences. This gun displays full German Waffenampts, including a standard national type eagle on the barrel. It is my understanding that many of these say service with the Kreigsmarine. This one unfortunately has an absolutly awful set of plexiglass grips, probably made by whom ever brought the gun back. Everything works fine, and it has no problems. The bore is quite good, and the rifling is good and strong. If someone has the ability to locate a proper set of grips for this gun, they wull have quite a nice peice.
