I wish the color came out better in the photos. It looks too green, but trust me, it is 100% bang on. The paint is graugrun from 1944 militaria that I restore helmets with on my own time. The liner and chinstrap is from Prairie Flower Leather Company, and this helmet represents a total 100% ready to use original. The liner currently has the cotton pads installed making it a size small. However, if you remove the pads, this liner will fit a size 60 head. With out a doubt, this is THE most comfortable reproduction liner that I have ever worn in an M16. Perfect for reenactors or display. Shell is marked as a 64.
