The Anderson fighting knife was produced directly before WW2 as a private purchase item for GIs to buy. There were very few of them made, and today are extremely scarce. They are made from Army Surplus Patton sabers,  and this one still displays the LF&C 1918 legend of the original sword. These are very uncommon, and are for the advanced collector.
