This is an interesting group, and it is offered forsale exactly as we recived it. We are not sure why it was peiced together in this manner, but it is definantly interesting. from top to bottom, it consists of a HJ shoulderboard, in the rank of HJ-oberkameradenschaftsfuhrer, from Bann 629, in the "nachrichten" or signals branch. Attached to the company button is one of the lanyards commonly seen, but for what it stands for I am not positive. Below that is a standard patten HJ armband, upon which are sewn; an Ost Sudetenland district patch with the Tradition Bar below it (this means a HJ branch in existance before 1933), over the proper HJ Nachrichten, or signals, specialty patch, and then finally, a BeVo style HJ sports badge. It is difficult to find some of this insignia, and to have to all together like this is a rare opprotunity. It is belived that it could possably have been peiced together like this once the individual entered the regular army.
