| This is another one of the more common Japanese medals, this one being for valor or merit. This medal, like so many others came in a number of classes, this one being the lowest at 8th class. The case is the laqured wood, and is in good condition, but is missing the clasp. The medal is nice, with no fray and both hooks are there.
