This is formerly sewn DAF sportshirt insignia, in great condition. The Deutsche Arbeitsfront was the paramilitary worker's association, which was ineffect the face of National Socialism. It was ineffect a massive worker's union responcible for setting wages, working hours, welfare, and above all, tight regulation of the workers. The welfare area it definatly a function of this insignia, which would have been worn on the sleeveless shirts in sporting events against other organizations.
