Fantastic example of a popular German civilan award. This Mother's cross in gold is the highest level of the Nazi era motherhood awards, and this example comes with the full lenght around the neck ribbon. Also, it comes with a box, which, if I remember correctly, only the gold verions came with. The others were issued  in envelopes. No German medal collection is complete with out a Mother's Cross.
