This is a good represenative of a painted helmet from late to post ww1. This is a well done 89th division badge, as would have been seen in the occupation of 1919. Painting helmets became all the rage during the post war era, and every one wanted to be like the british with their snappy camoflauge and formation insignia painted on their helmets. Liner is a bit ratty, but that's not where the value is, over all this is a great representation of it's type.
