Some were made better than others, and this one is cirtianly made better than most. This particular lighter is made from a larger than normal brass nut, and the facing coins are Australian Florins, both from 1927. The circumstances that this lighter was made must have been interesting given the period of time it originated from, and this particular peice is an excellent item, and would suit any trench art collector well.
